If you were planning on visiting Lauderdale By The Sea, or even going down for dinner, you should be aware that Commercial Blvd is under construction from the draw bridge all the way to A1A. While everything is open, parking lots are torn up and fenced off, and the air is filled with the sounds of jack-hammers.
It's odd to see an entire town under construction at the same time, but that's what we have here. You might want to hold off until November on your plans, or try somewhere else, at least for the time being.

Sea restaurant is open and there's plenty of lighted parking in back of restaurant or on the west side of building.
