American Table 13 is what happens when pizza people who think that a coal fire oven is all you need to cook good pizza decides to open a restaurant featuring a charcoal fired oven.
When I go to their website, there are 2 things that tell me I need to avoid this place. First, the main page is dedicated to filtered results from various review sites; they've cherry picked snippets that they like (some of which they may have posted themselves). Second, they don't have a menu on the site. Which means that they are so focused on creating a false narrative with the reviews that they "forgot" to feature their food, which is the only real reason to go to a restaurant.
Their head chef was a sous chef at 32East, and now they're charging more than the best restaurants in NYC.
