At's A Pizza was on Las Olas for 30 years. The business was sold in 2006, just about when I got here, and now the original owners have bought it back. Why they renamed it isn't clear; it appears that they think that the last owner damaged the brand.
The NY Giants on Monday night means pizza; I haven't had a pizza in a while. My first choice is closed on Monday night, so they lost out. I got a menu in the mail with a coupon for this place; $13.95 for a 1 topping 16" pizza. Not a great Monday night special, but with Sarpino's charging $20, it seemed like a no-brainer.
It's one of those deals where you have to tell them you have a coupon when you order, so you're never quite sure if you're getting the same pizza you'd get without a coupon. I ordered the pizza and headed down the street to pick it up. At 6pm on a Monday Las Olas was dead, dead,dead
The interior of the place remains the same; a small room suitable to eat in for a slice or a small group.
When I got home and I opened the box, it looked like a pizza made by people who know how to make a pizza.
But proof of the pudding is in the taste; and this pizza just wasn't that good. This pie didn't have much sauce or cheese, so it ended up being too much dough and not enough good stuff.

Someone decided that they could make a pizza that's good while cutting down on the sauce and cheese. Someone was wrong.
