In yet another labyrinth of strip malls is Wowies Sports Grill. From their web site you'd think it was some big, fancy place crawling with bathing beauties; but it doesn't take long to squash that image. It really doesn't look like much from the outside.
There's a couple of tables on the sidewalk, but there are no TVs there; just a speaker. There's a patio on the side for outdoor dining; but its also where all of the smokers hang out.
Inside there's a bar on one side with TVs surrounding the bar area; a bunch in a semi-circle that are viewable from just about any seat in the bar, and then more TVs all around. It's a pretty good setup for watching multiple games.
On the other side is a room with tables and booths; it's a pretty small place end to end. There's also a bar outside that is so packed with smokers on a Sunday that I didn't consider checking it out.
The crowd here is mostly younger and mostly regulars. It wasn't particularly crowded, and hardly any people filtered in as the 4pm Dolphins game approached. It just just seemed like a lot of regulars hanging out for the day and having some bar grub. There were a good proportion of younger, single girls here; 3 with big earings were making an inordinate amount of noise in an attempt to gain attention. It's certainly not an intense, sports bar environment.
The food is your basic bar grub; I'd put it on par with Bru's.
As for their main selling point, which is that the place is teeming with hot babes; it's just not the case. The servers here are young and somewhat attractive, but the babes on their web site were likely hired for the gig. They're no more interesting than the girls at Duffy's.
