Description
On the sleepy end of Las Olas (where 3 out of 4 restaurants are still closed down) opens a 'fancy' hotel with rooms for $119/night; Harborwood is their casual restaurant, right on Las Olas; with an all-day menu that doesn't really include dinner entrees. It's one of the most absurdly misguided menus I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot of menus. It's a twisted conflation of Latin cuisine with some shrimp and lobster sauce slipped in.
Imagine ruining delicate hollandaise sauce with the foul flavor of Chipotle? Burrata cheese with Chimichurri sauce? Turkey meatballs with guava BBQ sauce? It's almost like they're driving you to order a burger, salmon or flatiron steak; the only normal things on the menu.
They have a $25 breakfast buffet that sounds like the buffet on a cruise ship (scrambled eggs only).
There's no parking nearby (garages 2 long blocks away) and the hotel parking is $20.
