The strip of stores that include the Elbo Room and Beach Pizza is up for sale for a cool $7.7M. With a "just" tax value of only $3M and the crudiness of the stores paying rent, one WONDERS how an investment of that magnitude could be justified? 2025 speculation on a beach makeover?
Perhaps that would be the price if Fort Lauderdale Beach was more like the Wharf in San Francisco than Coney Island?
