Description
Knuckleheads disappeared one day (probably not paying some rent) and now "someone" appears to have opened a franchise pizza place in its place. There's no food service license or beer & wine license for this location, so it appears that they didn't bother to get them. This is what I know:
The "Brooklyn Boys Pizza To Go" "franchise" is a product of Frank Mineo, who I believe is the brother of Helen Mineo who owns Mineo's Pizza and Wings over on Griffen Rd. There are a bunch of these places the have opened (and closed) in TN and South Florida. I suspect this is a Quarterdeck type thing; where a brother is trying to take some of the success of a sibling and franchise it out. The problem is that Mineo's is a tiny place in a remote area so it's not exactly a big deal.
The sign permits were applied for by the owners of the building, so there's no trace of an actual owner. Web site owner is "protected" Very shady stuff. I wouldn't give them any credit personally.
