Description

This place has been battling the city ever since they foolishly bought the place without zoning for a sit-in restaurant. They've applied for all of the permits but they still haven't passed all of the inspections:

So there's an outstanding order to remove the seating area of the restaurant (which will likely have an impact on sales). but the owners are just thumbing their nose at the City; how do they keep selling this place? Obviously the city codes have no teeth; is this a case where the fines are lower than the rent? And they keep pushing back to hearings and giving extensions, so there are no fines. This has been going on for 2 years. Meanwhile they continue renting the space and serving food.

What a colossal waste of taxpayer dollars. What's the big deal? We have inspections and hearings and what's the end game? They shut them down after 2.5 years?

Up to $85K now. Some broker convinced them he could cover his fee with a higher price?

Down to $79K. People don't understand when their business has no value at all. If you have to work it to make a profit you're just buying yourself a job.

This place is up for sale for $169K on sales of 231K. 69K is more like it, AFTER they get their permits.

The owners keep posting complaining about the "cheap meats" comment; but when you have no menu available and have pictures of bad latin food on your front window, people may get the wrong idea?

You'd think after ridiculing them for a week they'd put up a page or something? Hard to believe someone bought this place considering the history.
