Mass Casualty Shooting at Parkland High School

At 2:30 EST shooting began at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland FL.

The suspect entered the school wearing a gas mask and pulled the fire alarm, causing students to begin to come out of the classrooms.

The shooter, 19yo Nicholas Cruz, is in custody.

17 are dead, according to the latest report.

Broward Deputies Drop the Ball

Latest reports claim that 4 Broward Deputies failed to enter the school to engage the shooter; instead waiting outside with guns drawn hiding behind their cars. If true, this represents an egregious dereliction of duty by the Broward Sherif Department.

Sheriff Israel is a strong Clinton supporter and probably hates Trump so he will stonewall and blame the NRA etc..I know many BSO officers who think he is a politician and a joke..
He should resign what with 39 calls to his Dept the media says and nothing done..WTF

Seriously? Law enforcement is warned over and over about someone, that someone commits a heinous crime, and the liberal crackpots STILL blame the gun. Would you rather he went into the school with a suicide vest? Or he mowed students down with his car as school was letting out? When are you dopey liberal gun nuts going to wise up and grasp that guns don't kill people; people kill people. Do you really think this kid would be sitting at home watching videos if there were a few more laws on the books? He was killing birds in his kitchen for God's sake.

This particular case is the wrong one to cry about gun regulation. This one is about law enforcement not doing their job. What good are more laws if the people who are supposed to enforce the laws don't do their job?

Israel needs to resign.
