Club serving Food opens on Las Olas
-------------------

Opening weekend was a bust for this place; It was cold Thursday, a bit nippy Friday night and Tonight, Sunday it's very nice out, but the place is dead. They didn't have a crowd at any point on Sunday.

Salt 7 Outside Bar

I think they went way too clubby on this place; the music made me not want to go inside. Eerily reminding me of Tuscan Prime; a huge place with a spattering of customers.

Salt 7 Opening Weekend (Sunday Night)

The don't have their hours posted anywhere, are they open during the day? There's no lunch menu so I suppose not.

Salt 7 7:30pm Opening Night

No Line.

Opening Jan 28, 2021

They claim their name, Salt 7, represents the blend of 7 salts they use to season their meat. Yet they serve "USDA Certified" Beef (ie Supermarket quality) and only have 3 steaks on the menu.

Imagine paying $54 for a "USDA Certified" Strip steak and mashed potatoes. Imagine Salt 7.

Can't make it up.

3 Months later, they've made some progress. I guess they can't open anyway, so what's the hurry?

Salt 7 Construction 9/8/20

3 months later they've removed the pavers as the 3 year construction on Salt 7 continues. This is so fantastic for the people paying $5,000/month to live in the building; the waterfront is an eyesore and you can't exit the building in the rear. When finished there will be a club that can't play loud music after 11pm.

Another absurdly overpriced restaurant is coming to Las Olas; Salt 7, with their first location in the center of Downtown Delray Beach, is going to be opening in the Icon.

Salt 7 6/9/20

When they first opened their menu was primarily sushi; they now position themselves as a "Modern Eatery". The prices are modern; that's for sure.

Overpriced, service was horrible, and the clientele was trashy. Never coming back here.

Breaking news. Salt 7 has massively raised their prices on beef; you can now enjoy Brunch Steak and Eggs for just $47. Mint Chimichurri with a Filet from their celebrity chef.

Let us know how it is.

I love the "foodies" online complaining that the food at a place named Salt 7 is too salty.

Not enough people are complaining about the noise and valet at Salt 7, so the Board of Directors of the Las Olas Grand is encouraging residents to complain. De'Angelo spending other people's money on lawyers once again.

Got an email touting some sort of St Patty's day dance party. Just what I'm looking for on St Patrick's day. They still haven't gotten a feel for the neighborhood.

They finally clarified that the Lunch and Brunch menu are the same; the handful of wildly expensive brunch items are only available on weekends. You won't have trouble getting a table for lunch.

600% markup on breakfast. Great if you can get it.

With "mint" chimichurri. And they have "spicy" hollandaise; It's like they're trying to ruin every dish with some ridiculously wrong ingredient. Owners who have no clue about food letting a chef run wild.

I love that they have a "corporate chef". They have 1 location other than this one!

It means they didn't hire a chef for this location.

If it is it will be shut down quickly. The point is that it's a club; the $40 steaks aren't going to be why people come here. Rare, Vibe, Solita were all hotspots for a while; until the next hot spot opens. If people will stand around on a deck at a pretend "Wharf" they'll go anywhere there's bad loud music.
