Club serving Food opens on Las Olas
-------------------
Opening weekend was a bust for this place; It was cold Thursday, a bit nippy Friday night and Tonight, Sunday it's very nice out, but the place is dead. They didn't have a crowd at any point on Sunday.
I think they went way too clubby on this place; the music made me not want to go inside. Eerily reminding me of Tuscan Prime; a huge place with a spattering of customers.
The don't have their hours posted anywhere, are they open during the day? There's no lunch menu so I suppose not.

The first picture of Salt 7 after opening:
No Line.
Opening Jan 28, 2021
They claim their name, Salt 7, represents the blend of 7 salts they use to season their meat. Yet they serve "USDA Certified" Beef (ie Supermarket quality) and only have 3 steaks on the menu.
Imagine paying $54 for a "USDA Certified" Strip steak and mashed potatoes. Imagine Salt 7.
Can't make it up.
Salt 7 Construction Dec 3, 2020
3 Months later, they've made some progress. I guess they can't open anyway, so what's the hurry?
3 months later they've removed the pavers as the 3 year construction on Salt 7 continues. This is so fantastic for the people paying $5,000/month to live in the building; the waterfront is an eyesore and you can't exit the building in the rear. When finished there will be a club that can't play loud music after 11pm.
==============
Another absurdly overpriced restaurant is coming to Las Olas; Salt 7, with their first location in the center of Downtown Delray Beach, is going to be opening in the Icon.
When they first opened their menu was primarily sushi; they now position themselves as a "Modern Eatery". The prices are modern; that's for sure.
Let us know how it is.
