Description

Small portions and high prices at the Riverfront. Briny's has been transformed into a fancy seafood restaurant.

At this point, this is a place for people at The Wharf to dine; the only parking is the $15 Wharf valet and a parking garage that's probably a zoo with all the Wharf activity.

They list the dress code as "Business Casual"; does this mean that no people at the wharf can come in here? There's no menu with prices anywhere; but I'm pretty sure this is the only place you can get veal brains.

This place is all marketing; staged photos, pictures of the chef, long-winded prose from copy writers; menus with no prices. It's the kind of thing that doesnt work well in Fort Lauderdale.

This item gets my vote for the single most ridiculous sounding item I can recall:

Rivertail porkbelly

Probably a little square for $30.

hors d'oeuvres at entree prices.

Updated menu; they've actually dropped prices on some items and and dropped the "Market Price" nonsense on every fish entree. The Pork Belly square is down to $26; still too rich for me.

They have a Sat lunch menu that's basically a subset of the full menu with the same prices.

Rivertail has re-opened. Apparently no-one told them that September is the slowest month of the year when there isn't a fake pandemic.

Surprisingly bad looking food. The non-staged photos of food actually received look so much different than the staged photos. It shows that the people running the restaurant aren't able to execute whatever idea they had for the place.

Another pretentious eatery for millennials and my fellow seniors driving Corvettes trying to hang.

$8 for "street corn". What's an ear of corn, 30 cents?

Someone posted a picture of the menu online; you were pretty close. $28 for a pork belly. Or, you could get a cheeseburger for only $19.
