Black Lives Matter Protest

Protests Return for No Reason

June 19, 2020

"Juneteenth" brought more cretins to the street; as they continue with the silly "Defund the police" narrative.

Meanwhile roads were closed in a 5 block radius.

While Police grabbed overtime with 2 hands.

There aren't any Harvard grads running this movement. Nobody actually wants to defund the Police, so what's the point of protesting for something that virtually nobody believes is a good idea? I just see these people a bunch of young people who just found out that you can't get a job with a C- average; and they're just mad.

The irony is that we need more police now; to protect us from these people.

Protest 1

The next location for the organized "protests" was supposed to be Lauderhill; but the City of Lauderhill had banned them from the proposed location, so they're moving to Las Olas.

Fort Lauderdale BLM protesters

What's the white chick protesting? I can think of many reasons to look down on all of the people in this picture other than the color of their skin.

The cretins marched up Broward to the Police Station (Broward Blvd is Closed to 95)

Fort Lauderdale Protesters

Broward county has an order in place that designates any gathering of more than 10 people a misdemeanor, so by definition this "rally" is illegal. It it's just a bunch of idiots with signs, fine. But if there's even a modicum of violence; 1 single incident, the city has the authority to arrest people just for being there under the social distancing order.

Reports that the police threw tear gas for "No Reason" are completely false; Police were positioned well away from the crowd. Instigators would run up to the police line and throw things at them and then run away. The police were very patient. Tear gas was dispersed when too many people got too close to the police to disperse the crowd.

Protest4

Watching these morons kneeling on the ground with their hands up is really irritating. It's the dumbest people in society who think the Police are the bad guys. The bad guys are the guys on the OTHER side of the street. Those are the people we need the police to protect us from; people who throw bottles and firecrackers at other human beings.

What do these 2 think they're smart or clever? They look like fools.

Stay Off the Streets

To be safe, stay out of the area; and I'd avoid Las Olas until all is clear. These demonstrations have been infiltrated with outsiders, so the intention of a peaceful protest can quickly get out of hand. The Miami protest yesterday got virtually no national media coverage; so the incentive to make a big statement here is likely low. But it only takes one incident to create a dangerous situation.

I love the fat chick with the "I can't Jog" sign. Get a treadmill or join a Gym!

There are more protests (ie stupid people blocking traffic) so prepare accordingly

Some windows were broken on Las Olas; Rocks were thrown at many businesses on Las Olas but most have hurricane glass and weren't damaged. Gran Forno, an Art Gallery and a Salon had their windows badly damaged.

Protesters are confronting police and tear gas has been deployed. Stay in your homes if you live downtown. This could get a lot worse. Roads are closed. The current area of concern is Andrews area between the Park and the Bus Station area.

Instigators are running up and throwing object at the cops and running away, hoping to create a situation.
