Critic's Review

At a time when restaurants openings are few and far between, this place quietly opened in the woods in the location previously occupied by Bozo's sub shop.

The place was more inviting as Sub's and Suds; these guys have gotten rid of the nice landscaping and picnic benches and went with more parking spaces. Do people in this neighborhood travel by car?

The ordering window is on the side.

Pizza Spot Fort Lauderdale

It was 69 degrees so I wasn't eating outside; not that I would want to eat here. With the windows closed there's zero ambiance in the place.

Pizzaspot outside

You can't see the slices when you order, so it's just a crapshoot. $3 for a cheese slice and $3.50 for anything else. They only had pepperoni so I ordered one of those.

Pizzaspot inside

They have an iPad that you have to sign with your finger; the girl had to hold it out the window to let me sign it. Do you really have to sign for a $3 order? I haven't signed in a supermarket in years for $50+ purchases.

I was taking a picture and I noticed a hand sticking out of the window with my slice.

Obviously this is a pretty sad offering for $3.50. They only charged me $3.21 so I'm not sure if they screwed up or they just know that $3.50 is too much. $3 is also too much.

Pizza Spot Slice

The blackened edges concerned me; the bottom of the slice told the story.

Pizza Spot Slice Underside

This is what happens when you don't clean your oven; like ever. A new venue should be embarrassed to serve this slice to someone; they're making a couple of bucks and guarantee that they'll never see the customer again. Who would ever come back here after receiving this garbage?

It wasn't a terrible tasting slice; It might have been halfway decent if it wasn't burned. Very short on cheese and sauce; they're just not trying to impress anyone.

Conclusion

This place is run by someone desperate to lose their money; no website, no facebook page; selling pitiful slices in the woods at downtown prices. There's not much going on around here; but if the last place didn't make it; this place won't last long.

The number of cretins trying to prop this place up make me want to never try it ever again. Why would I?

Same fools who rave about Riverside Market. Can't rely on such low class people to review pizza.

Wow, there are 40 people in Fort Lauderdale who know nothing about pizza? *surprised face here*

Do you have eyes Joe? Can you see the piece of crap I got? Maybe you got something different; I can only report on what I received. Every bad restaurant has 40 5 star reviews on Yelp; it's the entire point of this site.

You are right that you can only report on what you received; it is a shame that no one can leave a positive review or opinion that differs from yours. I enjoy your reviews, as they are usually spot on but not every restaurant can be as bad as your star rating

Obviously, who reviewed this place doesn't have a clue about New Haven apizza...

Burned with no sauce or cheese? I'm VERY familiar with bad pizza; it's not like New Haven is the food capital of the Northeast.

The "New Haven" pizza I had at Nick'swas better than this . This pizza stunk.
