Taza is closed and a Carrabba's Italian Grill will be opening in it's place.***
Taza Mediterranean, or Ferdo's South, is a somewhat nicer space owned by the same people who own Ferdo's Grill. The menu is virtually identical, as is the preparation. Its pretty good as middle east fare goes.
They also have belly dancing on Saturdays, and a separate bar area with happy hour specials. I think they're taking a big gamble that there is enough demand in the area for this type of restaurant, particularly in a part of town dominated by "joints". Time will tell.

It looks like Taza has bitten the dust. There's a sign on the door that says that they're on vacation and that they'll be back on April 1. But it seems they never returned.
