If you're old enough to remember the movie "Where the Boy's Are" you may consider shining up your walker and heading down to Las Olas Beach for a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the movie this Saturday. And yes, you guessed it, Connie Francis will be performing. For those of us who can barely remember when Fort Lauderdale was a destination for Spring Break, it may not be all that intriguing.
As is typical for Fort Lauderdale, there is almost no information available on the event. It will be a day long beach party, from 11am to 9pm, and A1A will be closed from 7am to Midnight from Las Olas Boulevard to Cortez Street (Beach Place). The days events are as follows:

- 8:15pm - "Where the Boys Are" Screening on the beach
