Critic's Review
City Eatz is located in the food court in the Festival Flea Market. It's probably not a place you'd go to if you weren't shopping at the Flea Market, but it's one of several venerable choices to grab some lunch in the building.
The concept is that they have food made famous by the city where they originated. Buffalo wings, Chicago Hot Dogs and Philly Cheese Steaks. I just wanted a snack, so I ordered a Chicago Dog straight up.
As you can see, they use fresh ingredients. Ripe tomatoes, a fresh, crisp pickle. Sport Peppers. A plump Vienna Hot Dog. The only thing I didn't detect was the Celery Salt. Maybe it was on there, but I didn't notice it.
I think that the pickle and tomato wedges were a bit too big. It was really difficult to keep this thing together. To be completely authentic, the tomatoes should be on one side and the pickle on the other. but I was able to get all of the flavors in each bite, which is the entire point.
Not you're usual mall food.
