Description
Dean Max Recently announced he was leaving 3030 ocean, which will have about as much impact on Fort Lauderdale as the closing of Suite 100 in the Riverfront. Perhaps the most overhyped chef of all time; 3030 Ocean is a poorly marketed hotel restaurant with an ill conceived "no menu" concept that isn't even considered by locals as a dining option. Aside from bogus "readers choice" awards from New Times (Do you really think that the pot smoking college dropouts that read New Times dine at 3030 Ocean?), this is a hotel restaurant for guest who are too lazy to venture out to Las Olas.
The good news is that Career Hotel chef Paula DaSilva is returning, so we can expect more praise from the campfire girls over at New Times. She is pretty good looking; but I'm still not going there.
