Proof that fake marketing doesn't work. Meatball Room has closed.

Meatball Room is what happens when a Dentist meets a pizza guy. With a meatball "restaurant" opening in Fort Lauderdale, I thought it would be interesting to try a meatball restaurant in Boca Raton.

It turned out to be a bad idea; despite them having a lunch menu on their website and their Facebook page claiming that they open at 11am; they're no longer open for lunch. Do I really have to call every restaurant to confirm that their active FB page has the correct hours?

So the best we can do if offer their menu, which features meatballs at $5.50 per ball. They serve them with something they call "crustini", which I assume is similar to crostini.

In 1 year, they've raised the price for 2 meatballs from $11 to $15, I guess because of all of the 1 and 2 star reviews? I hear their ads on the radio and I wonder who would pay money to have Sid Rosenberg pitch their restaurant?

If I were selling food for Cheetah or Diamond Dolls I would use Sid, otherwise you're spot on!!!

You should hear his latest ad for "Dr Gains" male enhancement. It's very disturbing.

2.5 stars on yelp. Filter out the shills, and you have a 2 star restaurant. LOOK at the pictures of the food. These guys have no idea how to cook Italian food.

I used to own a restaurant and find it very offensive that the person who wrote this had already written it off. They have to understand what a unjustified negative review can do to a business. Especially on that hasn't opened yet but, will be looking to create a following. That was very unprofessional and I have a feeling it may have been due to another issue they had. The industry is hard enough, let's give new business a chance before you say 'doubtful that it will make the grade of worthiness for a trip up to Boca'.

Who has "written it off"? There are 800 restaurants in Boca, and it's a peripheral coverage area. We never reviewed Damiano. If we hear it's good, we'll check it out. But it's not some big event like Shake Shack.

It's not a review. It's just a commentary. The public has the right to know who owns the place and what their track record is.
