Critic's Review
Paraiso is a roadstand with 6 stools that serves a limited menu; in fact I couldn't get to see a menu at all. I'd heard about the Cuban sandwiches and I was in a rush, so it seemed like a good choice. They have a little parking lot in the back that is well known for the strange art that hangs on the fence.
They didn't have a menu for me and there is no menu on the wall, so I just ordered a Cuban Sandwich since that's what I wanted anyway. The women barely spoke english and asked me a few times if I was taking out. Finally it was done and I was on my way. It smelled in the car a lot more than any of the other Cuban's I had gotten. When I got it home it seems a bit skinny but I didn't notice anything immediately.
After a couple of bites I realized there was no pickle. So I opened the sandwich.
With no pickles and no swiss cheese, this ain't a Cuban. It was some sort of pork sandwich with chunky pork, mayo, mustard and some sort of green sauce. It was pretty tasty; but I really prefer to get what I ordered. For $7. at a roadside stand its no tremendous bargain either.
