Rhino is closed; did the rusty furniture turn people off, or were the doughnuts just not that good?
Rhino Doughnuts
The Daisy Coffee House didn't work, so they decided to sell doughnuts instead. Davin Tran and Athan Prakas have joined with Daisy House to create a coffee shop that sells Doughnuts (think Dunkin Donuts). The difference: these doughnuts are made by a chef and are more creative. The nearest DD is on US1 so if you're on foot, this is your only choice.
3 months later, they're still going with the Rusty-look furniture. Apparently this is some sort of theme; if you ask me its a Major League eyesore. If they're actually supposed to look like this, it's the equivalent of putting fake zits on your face. A true marketing mistake. Some sad Yelper actually called this "Cool Furniture". Really?
Note that they've hired the Gab Group PR firm to spread the BS, so expect lots of rosy embellishments in every publication desperate for content in South Florida.
Please get rid of that furniture. It's a blight on the neighborhood!
