Believe it or not, BOHO is closed. Somehow Harald unloaded this albatross, and today there's a flash auction for the contents of the place after just a few months.
The "idea" here was a European club with fine dining in a variety of atmospheres. This location in geriatric row boasted "international cuisine", but the menu featured overpriced ubiquitous items like $25 chicken marsala, $18 crab cakes and $29 salmon. Another restaurant trying to convince us that Fettuccine Alfredo is "international cuisine'";

Believe it or not, BOHO is open.
I was driving by and saw the signs, which is the only way I'd know.
When I first reported that Boho was going to be the new restaurant the new owners assured me that they knew what they were doing. Meanwhile, after going completely dark for months, they've now opened a restaurant without a web site, without a menu posted and without even bothering to set their hours on their facebook page. No sign permit application filed yet, which is the first thing you do.
Based on the photos I'd have to say that they don't have the kind of cohesive idea that can support a place this size.Calamari, California Rolls, Salmon, Seafood Salad. Tiramisu, Lava Cake. A mish mosh of questionable ideas.
It looks like they secured one of the Grill Republic cows. Not sure how that fits in with the concept.

It appears that Harald has finally freed himself from this albatross, and some people from Hollywood Beach will be opening a "World Cuisine" and Entertainment complex. Didn't Harald try to do that twice?
The building has a tax value of 1.8M and was sold for $450K in 1977, so it looks like the owner just wanted to get out.
