The game here is the same; trying to sell overpriced Asian food to Stupid Americans. They initially tried to pass off their small plates as 'Dim Sum''; they've adopted the new fangled idea learned in bad culinary schools of cheating people with small portions of high margin dishes. They have.a "sous vide" chicken soup for just $20, like cooking the chicken separately in a bag before putting it into the boiling soup is a superior method worth an extra $13 a bowl. How STUPID are you?
They have a 4 COP SFS license here despite being licensed for only 104 seats, I'm really not sure how that works. If I owned a restaurant with under 150 seats I'd be asking the ABT how places licensed for under 150 seats get SFS liquor licenses. Because it's unfair if some businesses can get one and others can't. I'd want to get one also.
I originally wondered why they just didn't make the whole thing Temple Street and get a liquor license, but currently they're 2 separate corporations and a license can't be shared AFAIK.
The problem with these ideas is that nobody wants overpriced Chinese food (which is basically what Temple Street is). And Kimchee doesn't really go with bourbon or whiskey.
