As part of a Fort Lauderdale Beach facelift, so it's not quite as disgusting as it was previously. The crowd, however, is about the same.

Giving the Elbo room 5 stars is like saying Roseanne Barr is the hottest chick in Hollywood; I suppose its just a matter of how many beers you've had. The ultimate dive bar, the elbo room is all thats left of the old fort lauderdale beach scene. Like a cockroach after a nuclear war, there's nothing that can stop it.
The word seedy oozes from the elbo room, where their free admission with (or without) tattoos policy attracts all types of crusty folks old and new.
Located on the corner of Las Olas and A1A, its prime location on the beach for people watching in between the Las Olas parking lot and all of the beach action. Live music plays inside, and there's a second level for long distance oogling.
You probably won't feel comfortable here in your gucci pumps, but its a must-stop in for a beer when you've had enough of Blondies.
