Critic's Review
I'm not sure what to think of Rotelli. There aren't a lot of reviews. Most of them don't say much. There are so many locations. It's not clear if they are all run by the same people.
I just wanted to try a slice, so I went in and ordered one. The place is a step above your pizzeria; it's actually a decent, casual restaurant; sort of like a pizza hut.
I ordered a slice and paid for it, and the guy behind the counter said they'd tell me when it was ready. I sat down and was watching some TV, and I waited and waited. Finally I stood up and walked over to the counter and the slice was in a bag and had been there for a while. They just didn't bother to tell me that is was ready; even though I was sitting right there.
Now for $2.49, this is a pretty small slice. Is this really 1/8th of a pie? The taste of the slice was pretty good; a bit greasy, with good sauce and cheese with a good dose of oregano. The problem was that the crust was paper thin; so thin that I couldn't pick up the slice.
They also didn't give me any napkins in the bag; always a nice touch. Just people that don't give a crap about their customers.
